Fort Worth Botanical Garden Engagement Session
This FTW engagement session at the Forth Worth Botanical Garden was just so beautiful! Here is a little about these two:
Jon and Shannon love to be with their dogs, Pearl and Abaco (see last photo!), whether that is walking with them around the neighborhood or taking them to Oklahoma to Lake Texoma. They love to travel and have a long list of international and domestic destinations they would want to visit over the next 5-10 years! Shannon and Jon love to spend time with family and friends, cooking together and trying new eateries.
Shannon and Jonathan have one of the sweetest engagement stories. They met over a decade ago their sophomore year in college. Jon immediately had eyes for Shannon and they went on a few dates before they lost touch as they carried on with their careers. Their jobs kept them apart, but they would often see one another through mutual friends and gatherings. Eight years later, Shannon found herself in Fort Worth for a conference and she knew Jon would have some tips for great eats. Recognizing his opportunity, Jon met up with Shannon to connect. They had an instant deep connection.
Jon proposed while the two were away for a birthday weekend trip. He covered the entire porch to their hotel room was covered in pink and cream flower petals, a photographer hiding in the bushes, a bottle of champagne and of course their sweet pup Abaco to witness it all. It was more than perfect.
These two are most excited to have their loved ones around as they take the next step into their commitment for one another, and so are we! We cannot wait to celebrate their wedding day here in Tulsa.
