Gorgeous Turner Falls/ Castle Ruins Engagement {Amy & Jake}

Castles are made for princesses and I swear she is one.  How can we describe an engagement session experience that feels just like having a mini wedding day? This gorgeous Turner Falls/ Castle Ruins engagement was simply magical. We adore these two and cannot wait to see them say I DO! Their love is truly straight out a fairytale.  There’s blue waterfalls and so many happy smiles coming your way!

The love story

Amy works for News on 6, so when Jake noticed her eating at Los Cabos in Jenks one day (on a date with another guy!), he and knew he had to meet her. Jake even tried to run into her at the restaurant by holding the patio door open for her when she went inside. Later, Jake decided to message Amy on instagram and told her the story. Impressed with his boldness, Amy knew she had to give him a shot, and she’s glad she did! They started dating shortly after they met and have been inseparable ever since. To top it all off, Los Cabos is catering their wedding. 😉

How did Jake pop the question?

“Jake proposed on Christmas Day of 2019. We had been dating for two years and we were at home celebrating Christmas with my family in Pennsylvania. We decided to drive around and look at Christmas lights and got out of the car to take a few pictures and my mom definitely had her camera ready for the moment — so it was truly magical and I am so happy that my family could be there and could be a part of it!”

What do you love about your relationship?

“Jake and I found out early on that we had a lot of similar interests and definitely bonded over our love for animals. We now have two dogs — a yellow lab named Zeus and we rescued a pit/lab mix named Max. They are our world and have brought us so much closer together!
We also compliment each other really well. I am really patient and Jake is not… Jake is very organized and I am not… So I think we’ve helped each other as we continue to grow along the way and I am really excited to see where this road takes us!”

Amys’ thoughts on the engagement session

“The photo session with Andi and Daniel at Turner Falls was incredibly magical! It was gloomy outside and it was kind of raining, my hair was a frizzy mess and I thought our photo day was going to be ruined — but they truly worked their magic and the photos were better than I could’ve ever imagined! They are truly incredible and it was amazing to work with them!! I can’t wait to work with them on our wedding day!”
