Spain Ranch blush Wedding Tulsa, OK {Moriah & Sam}
It is our pleasure to introduce Moriah and Sam! They are such a joy to work with! Their Spain Ranch wedding was so DREAMY. Moriah and I have grown pretty close since the beginning of their wedding planning. It is such joy to have her and Sam be a part of our lives.
A wedding with so many gorgeous details deserves all the attention. Starting with the 387 Swarovski crystals, 600+ yards of fabric, a 14k white gold zipper, 13 diamonds, and over 750 hours of labor just on the wedding dress!
We learned that’s what it takes to make a gorgeous one-of-a-kind custom gown.
A little about the couple
Moriah and Sam are the sweetest best friends and you can totally tell from being around them just a few minutes. Sam proposed to her on Christmas Day surrounded by her friends and family! They are now loving married life! Sam is a pilot and Moriah recently started a business with her best friend. Moriah’s new business venture is event and wedding planning, which is PERFECT for her!
Sam & Moriah’s wedding highlights
“When Sam arrived at our wedding venue he was in a pair of Lulu shorts. For those that are avid athleisure dressers like we are, you know that they have built in underwear. Sam did not take into account that his suit did not have built-in underwear! Praise the Lord for my best friend and bridesman, Andrew, who saved the day because he had an extra pair. Yes, what you’re thinking is correct – my husband married me in a pair of my best friend’s underwear.”
“Dancing all night and dancing with my nephew Jed was so special for me. Anyone that knows me knows that Jed and his new brother Zeke are a huge part of my life!”
“After our grand exit with sparklers, we left in my father-in-law’s 1967 Camaro, Pearl. Sam’s dad loves that car more than both of his children (just kidding), but it was a big deal that we were able to use it on our wedding day!”
Tips from Moriah for future brides and couples
Start with a vision. Moriah started with a vision of over the top elegance filled with blush, white, and gold. These were colors that are very much a part of her life and unique to her! This led to choosing Spain Ranch! She and Sam valued a venue large enough for their families, a location with forestry and greenery, and a blank canvas to truly create her vision! Spain Ranch was the perfect fit.
Do your research! Research vendors before hiring. Moriah’s rule of thumb: “If you wouldn’t be friends with them outside of the business relationship, they probably aren’t the right fit for you. If you don’t have a trustworthy team to fulfill your vision then it won’t come to life!” Your vendors are there to advocate for you and save you stress-not add to it!
Moriah’s biggest advice… enjoy being engaged!
“You can never get this season of life back, so please enjoy every single moment with your fiancé! There’s nothing like being engaged – it’s such a special time. Don’t sweat the small things or get overwhelmed by the planning process. Everything will work out the way it should. If you find yourself getting overwhelmed, remember why you’re having a wedding in the first place… because you’re madly in love and making the choice to spend the rest of your life with your best friend!”
